Wedding photography 

  I’m a professional fine art and wedding photographer who blends photojournalism and creative portraiture to create meaningful, artful images for you. Blending these two styles is the art of capturing emotions that can tell your story in a real and beautiful way. Training my eye to be a keen observer of beauty in the simple things has helped me develop a photographic style that evokes lasting emotion.

   My goal for every wedding is to capture images that you will frame or hold in an album and someday share with your children and grandchildren. My hope is that your images emit the same emotions you felt at that moment in time. And that you remember the rich relationships that surrounded you on such an important day, feel the hugs from your loved ones, see their happiness for you, and remembering the best of your wedding day through my work.

   It’s very important for me to get to know you as a couple and connect on a personal level. A connection with you allows me to truly tell your story. Equally important to me is working with you to create tangible mementos you will enjoy long after the wedding day. Printing your photographs is the next step in my role as your photographer. Regardless of whether it’s an heirloom album or a wall gallery of archivally matted prints, I still believe in printing, holding, and viewing these memories in fine-art presentations. I take great care in crafting images for you and the same care in printing your images so that they will last for generations.

Before your wedding, we will have several meetings (at least two) to talk through your plan for the day. I will help you craft a timeline that meets your vision beyond the photographic sessions so that you can relax, enjoy the day, and just be with your most important people.
