Beginning with our initial consultation, Jana was welcoming, professional, and made us feel so comfortable with her. We both live in Philadelphia, and had our wedding in State College since we met and got engaged at Penn State. Jana kept contact with us, and was always quick to respond to emails, or available for a phone call if we needed to talk. We were never concerned that our photographer wasn't closer to our home.
Jana's prices are also extremely reasonable. The best part is, she works with you your entire wedding day and doesn't charge you for "extra hours". She started at 8am when the bride started getting her hair done, and didn't stop until the end of the reception (sorry for the long day, Jana!)
Most importantly, her pictures look absolutely beautiful (just look at her website for proof). Jana made us feel so comfortable during our wedding day. We both are somewhat uncomfortable having our pictures taken, and find it a little difficult to pose and smile on command without looking awkward. But, Jana was patient, and always commented on how good we looked as she was taking the pictures. It doesn't sound like a big deal, but it really helps.
All of our friends we so impressed with Jana that they hope to use her for their weddings! So, if you want the best photographer in the state, you better book her before our friends do!

Working with Jana has been an absolute joy.
