booking
Yay! Moving onto booking must mean we are a match. Hopefully booking your wedding photographer comes with a sigh of relief and one big check on the wedding planning to-do list. With a 50% retainer and a signed contract we are officially, official.

ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Together we will pick a stunning location, plan for the best light, and take some fun portraits of you two just being you! I'll also prepare you with a beautiful guide to help with planning all the things to come.

I'm here for you every step of the way! After 16 years of planning timelines & photographing weddings, I've learned a lot. And with me on your team, we will plan a day that feels incredibly relaxed and fun. Making time for all your most important people that have come to celebrate with you.

delivery & presentation
Waiting to see your photos can be the toughest part of the whole wedding experience! That's why I deliver a preview the week after you say "I do" and your full gallery will be delivered within 4-6 weeks of the wedding day. After scrolling through your gallery a hundred times and sharing all your favorites with friends and family, it’s time to talk albums! I can't wait to help you create these family heirlooms.

FAQ's
Do you travel?
Sure thing! I love exploring new towns and wedding venues. I ask that my flight and overnight accommodations be covered, but there are no additional fees beyond that. I am always looking for an opportunity to pack my bags and capture love and beauty in a new location.
how many photos will we see in our gallery?
Wedding galleries usually consist of 600-1,000 photos. Engagement galleries usually consist of 80-120 photos.
do you work with a second photographer?
After a decade of photographing weddings on my own, I am now excited to bring an assistant along with me! Over the past four years, my assistants have accompanied me to most weddings where they help me capture every moment and catch any curveballs thrown our way. This additional coverage is available in two of my collections.
how long have you been a photographer?
I’ve been proudly serving couples like you for 16 years and have over 375 weddings in my portfolio!
you have a studio?! where is it?
I do! My studio can be found just a mile outside State College, PA, in the heart of Central Pennsylvania. At the base of Mt.Nittany is a charming town called Lemont -- the kind of town where there are acoustic concerts on the green-- and my sweet little studio is snuggled right in!

are you a film or digital photographer?
While I am a Canon digital photographer, I am trained in film photography and development. Because of this, my style is heavily inspired by the colors and timeless beauty of film.
do you have insurance
coverage and backup gear?
Yes and yes! I am certainly happy to provide a certificate of insurance to your venue if necessary, and I always come equipped with several backup cameras, flashes, and lenses.

what can you do?
You are not alone! Most couples feel a bit uncomfortable going into their first photo shoot, but my priority is to help you feel comfortable and confident. That is the main reason I include an engagement photo shoot in all my wedding packages. Not only do you get gorgeous engagement shots, you also get a chance to grow more comfortable in front of the camera.
how far in advance do we need to book you?
After setting a date and securing your venue, booking your photographer should be top priority. Your best bet is to book 12-18 months in advance. It is never too late, or too early, to reach out so don’t be afraid to inquire regardless.
what is the average investment your wedding clients spend?
On average, couples spend between $5,000 - $7,000 after adding albums or other tangible products to their collection. You can get a better idea of your photography investment after our initial consultation call, where we discuss your timeline and work together to find a collection that is right for you.
can we skip the engagement session to save money?
The engagement session is a complimentary offer that is included in all packages because it is such an essential step in our wedding photography process. During the session, we get to know each other better as I help you find confidence and comfortable in front of my lens. Not to mention the beautiful images you’ll receive!
do you offer videography?
Unfortunately, I do not. But over the last decade or so, I’ve met so many talented videographers that I’d love to introduce you to!
when can we expect to receive our gallery?
For engagements, you will receive your full gallery just 2-3 weeks after our session. For weddings, a preview of about 20-30 photos will be available within the week after your wedding, and your full gallery will arrive 4-6 weeks after you say, “I do!”
when should we schedule our engagement session?
Once you have officially booked, we will start planning your engagement session. I will send you a guide to help you plan and be fully prepared, including tips on what to wear and other factors to consider.
what if you've never photographed our venue before?
That’s no problem at all! If your venue is new to me, I’ll arrive early to scout the location so we don’t waste any time when taking photos. I love exploring and finding breathtaking light in new locations!
